Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Taxocat, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use Taxocat.

What Taxocat does

Taxocat helps individual entrepreneurs in Georgia with Small Business Status keep track of their income and their monthly declarations. With Taxocat you can:

• record income in lari or a supported foreign currency, such as US dollars or euros, and convert it to lari at the official National Bank of Georgia rate;
• see your monthly and yearly totals, the tax due and your progress towards the annual limit;
• prepare your monthly declaration and, if you connect your rs.ge account, have Taxocat fill it in and send it for you;
• ask the assistant general questions about taxes in Georgia.

Taxocat is currently free to use.

Taxocat is an independent service. It is not an official app of the Revenue Service of Georgia and is not affiliated with or endorsed by it or by the National Bank of Georgia. Taxocat does not pay your tax; you pay it yourself through your bank.

Not tax or legal advice

Taxocat, its blog and its assistant give general information to help you stay on top of your obligations. It is not professional tax, legal or financial advice. Answers from the assistant are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong.

You remain responsible for your tax affairs: for the accuracy of the income you enter, for filing on time, for paying the tax you owe and for any other obligations you have. When in doubt, check with the Revenue Service or a qualified adviser.

Your account

Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Keep your password safe and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and contact us straight away.

Connecting rs.ge and filing on your behalf

If you connect your rs.ge account, you authorise Taxocat to sign in to rs.ge with the details you provide and to act on your behalf only to carry out what you ask for in the app — such as preparing, filling in and sending a monthly declaration.

By connecting an account, you confirm that it is your own account or that you have the right to use it. Check the declaration Taxocat shows you before you send it: it is submitted in your name, and you are responsible for its content.

rs.ge is run by the Revenue Service, not by us. We cannot guarantee that it will be available or that it will accept a declaration, and changes on rs.ge may stop automatic filing from working for a while. You can still file yourself and mark the month as filed in Taxocat.

You can disconnect rs.ge at any time on the Account page. When you do, the rs.ge details stored by Taxocat are deleted.

Acceptable use

Do not use Taxocat:

• for anything unlawful, or to file false or misleading declarations;
• with someone else's rs.ge account without their permission;
• to interfere with the service or its security, for example by probing for vulnerabilities, overloading it, scraping it or getting around its limits;
• to copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or puts other users or the service at risk.

Your data

The information you enter in Taxocat stays yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The Taxocat name, logo, design, software and articles belong to us. You may use them only to use the service and for your own, non-commercial reference.

Changes to the service

We improve Taxocat all the time and may add, change or remove features, or stop the service. If we stop the service, we will try to tell you in advance so you can save your data. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you first, and you will not be charged unless you choose to pay.

No warranty

Taxocat is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every situation. Exchange rates are shown as published by the National Bank of Georgia.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits, or for penalties, fines or interest charged because a declaration was filed late, with errors or not at all, unless the loss was caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending your use

You can stop using Taxocat at any time. To delete your account and its data, use Delete account on the Account page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Taxocat after that, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes that we cannot resolve together will be settled by the courts of Georgia.
