Taxocat is now in Telegram: sign in, Mini App and answers in the bot

Most of our users already spend their day in Telegram, so we brought Taxocat there. You can now sign in with your Telegram account, use the whole app as a Telegram Mini App, and ask the AI assistant questions in a chat with our bot.

What is new

• Sign in with Telegram. On the sign-in page there is a new Continue with Telegram button next to Google. No password to remember.
• Taxocat as a Mini App. Open @taxocat_bot and tap Open. Your incomes, tax and declarations open right inside Telegram. After the first time, it signs you in automatically.
• Answers in the bot. Write any question to @taxocat_bot, for example “When is the declaration deadline?” or “Do I need to declare a month with no income?“. The same AI assistant as on /chat answers in your language, with links to its sources. Reply to one of its answers to ask a follow-up.
• Bot commands. /status shows which months you still need to file and how much tax is due. /app opens Taxocat, /help lists the commands.
• An icon on your phone. In the Mini App, go to Account → Add to Home Screen to open Taxocat from your home screen in one tap.

Already have a Taxocat account?

You keep everything you have. The first time you open the Mini App or tap Continue with Telegram, enter the email you use for Taxocat. We send a code to that email and, inside the Mini App, a second code from @taxocat_bot. That proves both the email and the Telegram account are yours, so nobody can attach their Telegram to your account. After that, Telegram signs you straight in.

You can also connect or disconnect Telegram at any time in Account → Sign-in methods, just like Google.

What about my data?

• From Telegram we keep only your Telegram user ID, to recognise you when you sign in.
• Questions you write to the bot are answered the same way as on the website: they are sent to Google’s AI services to find the right articles and write the answer. We do not save the conversations. If you reply to one of the bot’s answers, that answer is sent along as context.
• Please do not send ID numbers or passwords to the assistant.
